Here is a list of hardware manufacturers offering Linux :

Exclusive Offers :

- Zareason : They will customize your computer the way YOU want and ship it in a reasonable time. They also have fairly competitive price given their size and provide great support.

- System76 : They seem to be a bit bigger than Zareason and recently started to offer netbooks. They might not be as flexible or competitive but they still provide great support for Ubuntu.

- Los Alamos : They might be the oldest and biggest Linux Computer distributors in US.

- Cool Tech Quiet computers to order, select Linux and deduct $72.

- Stitz Computers : A small computer shop that offers Ubuntu, LinuxMint and Fedora. They currently only offer desktops, but they are looking to start selling netbooks and laptops soon. Windows Vista is available as the second OS on a dual-boot configuration, but Linux is pretty much mandatory. They also offer very reasonable live media (1.25-2.25 per CD).

Other OEM's offering Linux* :

- Dell : They seem to be the big box distributors that are the most friendly to Linux (Well, Ubuntu in fact) so far.

- Acer : They offer Linux on their Aspire One at least.

- ASUS : They are the one who started the netbook trend with the eeePC.

- HP : Their HP mini looks pretty nice but : "Please note: the Linux command line interface is disabled on this edition.". So you might want to install something else.

* Note that their Linux products are very hard to find and might not be available from all countries
